Studies on global health suggested that the underlying cause of life threatening diseases and illnesses such as malaria, tuberculosis, pneumonia is poverty. According to the reports released by the World Health Organization, there are significant social, political and economical factors in play within the aspects of health, the environment and the populations.
It was pointed out that there is a deeper connection between environmental factors, poverty and the health of the populations. A clear example could be directed to the devastating condition in Africa. The unfortunate climate experienced by the country had forced the government to seek outside help. It is a circle with hurdles and struggles. In order to develop the country into a safe place to live it requires nearly all the basic necessity, which reflects even further on the difficulties of placing the priorities. Being environmentally disadvantaged, it requires major supports to provide safe and clean water for consumption, and also water to grow crops. In order to achieve this, economical and human resources, along with appropriate equipment are obligatory. Financial supports from other countries, medical workers, and volunteers, have all come along to help build life necessities.
Now what appears to be a done job, another problem has escalated to bring a disappointing fact to the hard work that has been put through. It has been a long journey and placing priorities seems to be the test once again. Africa is now faced with paying the debt to other countries, making it impossible to adequately allocate fund to aspects such as health and education. The seemingly never-ending struggles had become a global concern. It is a hard truth to except that the unfortunate environmental conditions had lead to the poor living standards and poor health qualities.
